01  The math

Share one taxi. Save 50% or more.

Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport, around ₪150 on the meter:

Riding alone

₪150

One person pays the whole meter

Two riders

75 eachSave 50%

Split one taxi down the middle

Three riders

50 eachSave 67%

Same taxi, each pays a third

The same math works on every route. Jerusalem to Ben Gurion runs around ₪310 alone, about half that each when two share, and less per person as more riders join. Finding people to share with used to mean WhatsApp groups, Facebook posts, and luck. PairMee puts it in one place: post a route, see who is going your way, and split one taxi.

Fares are estimates and vary by time, traffic, and the meter.

02  Where people look today

Everyone is already looking. Just in five different places.

Since the sherut vans ended, sharing a taxi means fishing in random WhatsApp groups, Facebook threads, and stories that vanish. No profiles, no filters, no way to choose who you ride with. The demand is real; the place for it was missing.

WhatsApp groups

"Anyone splitting a taxi Thursday night?" scrolls away in minutes.

Facebook groups

A post in a 50k group gets two comments. Both from last week.

Instagram stories

Gone in 24 hours, seen by whoever happened to look.

The same people, finally able to find each other.

03  How it works

How does PairMee work?

You post a route with a date and time, PairMee shows people heading the same way, and you approve who joins your ride. You then share one taxi and split the fare directly. Two riders each pay about half, and the more riders join, the less everyone pays.

  1. 01

    Post your route

Where you are leaving from, where you are going, and when. It takes under a minute, and posting is free.

  2. 02

    Approve who joins

People on your route ask to join. You see their profile first, and nothing is confirmed until you say yes.

  3. 03

    Ride together, split the fare

Share one taxi and settle up directly with the other riders. PairMee is free to use.

04  Safety by design

Is PairMee safe to use with people you have not met?

PairMee is built so you stay in control. Everyone signs in with Google, so there are no anonymous accounts. You see who wants to join before anything is confirmed, you approve or decline every match, and your exact pickup point stays private until you accept.

Google sign-in only
No anonymous accounts. Every rider has a real Google identity behind their profile. ID verification is on the roadmap and not live yet.
You approve every match
Requests come to you. Review each profile and decide. Nothing is confirmed until you say yes.
Women-only rides
Post a ride only women can ask to join. One toggle when you post, your call always. The app's ride filters, including the women-only filter
Your address stays private
People browsing rides see only your city. Your exact pickup point is shared with the riders you approve, and nobody else.

PairMee is a matching platform, not a taxi company. We do not run vehicles or process payments, and we are honest about what that means: you decide who rides with you.Read the safety guidelines

Questions, answered straight

What is PairMee?

PairMee is a ride-matching platform that connects travelers heading in the same direction at similar times, so they can share a taxi and split the cost. PairMee does not provide transportation. It only facilitates connections between riders.

How much does PairMee cost?

PairMee is free and charges no booking fees. Matched riders share one taxi and settle the fare directly between themselves. PairMee does not handle payments between riders.

Is PairMee a taxi service?

No. PairMee is a matching platform only. It does not operate vehicles, employ drivers, or provide transportation. Riders arrange the taxi themselves and split the fare directly.

How does verification work?

Everyone signs in with Google, so there are no anonymous accounts. You see each person’s profile before agreeing to share a ride, plus ratings they earn from past rides. ID verification is on the roadmap and not live yet.

What are women-only rides?

When posting a ride, any woman can mark it women-only. Only women can then ask to join it. The setting is a single toggle on the post form and always the ride owner’s choice.
