Terms of Service

Effective date: March 15, 2026.

These Terms cover PairMee on pairmee.com and app.pairmee.com. They work together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PairMee (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement.

2. Platform Role and Scope

PairMee is a communication and matching platform only. PairMee does not:

  • Provide transportation services
  • Own, control, or operate vehicles
  • Employ, retain, supervise, or endorse drivers or passengers
  • Act as carrier, broker, agent, insurer, guarantor, or employer
  • Guarantee ride availability, punctuality, behavior, legality, or safety

All transportation decisions, arrangements, and outcomes are made solely by users.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely and fully responsible for:

  • Verifying identity, suitability, qualifications, and trustworthiness of other users
  • Choosing whether to meet, ride, drive, or share a route with another user
  • All route planning, pickup points, payments, luggage, and ride logistics
  • Personal safety precautions and emergency decision-making
  • Compliance with all laws, licensing rules, traffic laws, and insurance obligations
  • Any taxes, fees, fines, penalties, or legal consequences arising from your conduct
  • Accuracy and legality of all content and information you submit

4. Assumption of Risk

You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks arising from use of the Platform and from any online or offline interaction with other users, including risk of injury, property loss, theft, harassment, misconduct, delays, disputes, accidents, and damages of any kind.

5. No Background Checks or Guarantees

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PairMee does not conduct comprehensive background checks and does not guarantee the truthfulness of user profiles, identity claims, ratings, travel plans, or messages. Any verification badges or indicators are informational only and are not safety guarantees.

6. Payments and Third-Party Arrangements

PairMee is not a payment processor and is not a party to payment arrangements between users. Any payment, reimbursement, cost-sharing, cancellation terms, refunds, or charge disputes are solely between users.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Platform for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent identity, intent, route, or eligibility
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, or exploit other users
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or abuse the Platform infrastructure
  • Use the Platform to operate unauthorized commercial transport in violation of law

8. Suspension and Termination

PairMee may suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected policy breaches, legal risk, safety concerns, or operational needs.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, reliability, accuracy, or suitability. PairMee does not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or any specific result.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PairMee, its owner(s), affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or statutory damages, including personal injury, death, property damage, lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or legal claims arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or interactions with users.

If liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, PairMee's total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of: (a) amounts paid by you to PairMee in the prior 12 months, or (b) USD $100.

11. Release

You release PairMee and its owner(s) from all claims, demands, and damages arising from disputes between users or from any transportation-related event. You waive any rights to claims against PairMee based on other users' conduct to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PairMee and its owner(s) from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, penalties, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform, your content, your conduct, your legal violations, or disputes with other users.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute shall be in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

14. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • No waiver: failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: PairMee may assign these Terms without restriction.
  • Entire agreement: these Terms govern your use of the Platform in full.

15. Changes to Terms

PairMee may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
