Boilerplate

Approved for direct quotation, no paraphrase needed:

PairMee is a free web platform that matches travelers heading the same way in Israel so they can share the ride and split the cost. Riders post a route, see people going in the same direction, approve who joins, and pay half or less of the meter. PairMee is a matching layer, not a taxi company: it does not operate vehicles or process payments. Everyone signs in with Google, ride owners approve every match, and women can post women-only rides. PairMee is founder-led and based in Israel. More at pairmee.com.

Why this is a story

  • People already do this, with no platform

Every day, people look for others to share the ride with in Instagram stories, WhatsApp groups, and Facebook groups. The demand is proven; the infrastructure is missing. PairMee is the first place that unifies it: a real Google account behind every request, mutual ratings, and one place you come back to every time you need to share a ride.

  • The alternatives keep narrowing

The shared sherut vans from Ben Gurion no longer operate and nothing door-to-door replaced them, so the improvised coordination only grows. The fare itself is per taxi, not per person: splitting is the single biggest fare cut available to travelers.

  • Trust as the product

PairMee owns no vehicles and employs no drivers. The product is the trust layer: Google sign-in with no anonymous accounts, owner approval on every match, and women-only rides as an enforced rule rather than a polite request.

Logos and brand assets

Direct downloads, publication-ready. Clear space: keep at least the height of the parrot's eye empty on all sides. Do not place the logo on busy photos without the on-dark version or a solid backing.
