Community carpooling: members get there together, even where the bus does not go
PairMee gives your community a ride board. Members who drive offer their free seats, members who need a ride find them by area and time, and nobody has to post a phone number in a group. We set it up and run it with you.

This is a board for rides to campus this week
A demo board for the rides to a campus this week: 14 regular drivers and 26 students looking, each morning on its own. The same board serves a kibbutz, a neighborhood or a congregation.

- 1
1 board per week
Sunday to Thursday, each morning on its own. Drivers post the mornings they drive; students find the same driver every Tuesday.
- 2
Your community's look
The campus photo and name. Members recognize it as theirs.
- 3
Closed when it should be
A community board can be listed by name only and opened with a code you share, so it stays off public lists.
Demo data: a fictional board and fictional people, at the scale of a real one.
Nobody left out because they have no car
In our conversations with communities, the members who miss out are usually the ones without a car, or without someone to go with: new members, students, older members, young people.
Members without a car are included
A ride from their own street means they come to the activity, the class or the event, instead of hearing about it afterwards.
New members find their people
A shared ride every week is how a new member gets to know the community.
Fewer cars, less cost
Members who drive the same way anyway split the cost and the parking.
The community looks after its members
The board carries your name. Getting there becomes part of belonging, not a private problem.
Members drive members
People fill their seats with people they know first. The board shows them who from the community is going the same way, to events and home for the weekend.
01
Ask by name
Ask the members who already drive, by name. The board fills the rest.
02
Parking for full cars
Campuses can give cars with 3 or more people reserved spots and the first parking permits.
03
Recognition
Members who drive others are the people the community already thanks.
The perk goes to the car and everyone in it, never cash to a driver per passenger. Passengers share fuel costs with the driver as the law allows, and PairMee takes no cut.
How to get drivers on boardHome for the weekend, together
On Thursdays and Fridays half the campus heads home, often to the same towns, and most buses stop on Friday afternoon. The board matches people heading the same way.
A week of mornings, not a single date
Communities do not have 1 date. They have the same commute, the same Friday shuttle to the station, the same drive to the regional school. PairMee runs it as a board that covers the week, each morning on its own, and we open the next week's board for you.
Mornings, not a date
A driver posts Sunday and Tuesday at 07:30 from Tel Aviv. The ride shows under each morning with the seats left.
Members of the community only
Opened with a code, listed by name only. You share the code with your members.
A coordinator who is not on call
Members ask us about the app, not the coordinator. The coordinator reads a dashboard once a week.

See who looked for a way there, and from where
See where members looked for a ride and did not find one, by town and by day, and put a shuttle where it fills.
Where the gaps are
People looking for a ride and people who found one, by town and by day, there and back.
In time to act
Where many are left without a seat, add a shuttle, ask drivers from there to post, or move a start time.
Numbers, never names
No group smaller than 10 people, places stop at the town, nothing to export. We prepare it and send it to you with every event.
- Tel Aviv area
26 looked for a ride, 8 found one, 18 did not. 7 rides left from there.
- All other areas
19 looked for a ride, 6 found one, 13 did not. 20 rides left from there.
Numbers from the board. Found counts people who listed themselves as looking and got a seat through the board. 4 more people joined a ride without listing themselves, so 18 people without a car found a driver in all. People who did not find a seat on the board may have come another way.

How a community starts
- Step 1
Tell us the route
Where people go, which days, roughly how many. A campus, a kibbutz, a congregation, a neighborhood.
- Step 2
We build the week's board
In Hebrew and English, with your photo and name, within 1 working day. A code if you want it closed.
- Step 3
You share it once
In the community's group or newsletter. From then on we open each week's board, members use it, and they ask us when they need help.
From ₪2,999 + VAT a month for a standing board, or from ₪999 + VAT for a single event, with 20% off your first. Every price is confirmed in a written quote after a 20‑minute call. No booking fees for members, and no cut of what people share. Outside Israel we quote in US dollars.

What buyers ask us on every call
Why not just use our WhatsApp group?
If your members know each other and the group is small, keep using it. In a large or spread-out group, ride requests get buried, every request shows the phone number of the person asking, and the members who most need a ride often do not ask. PairMee shows each member the people driving from their area, keeps phone numbers private and gives you numbers on what happened.
Should a university or a public body build its own carpool app?
Some are buying one instead. In August 2026 Tel Aviv University published its intent to contract an outside carpool platform for its community for 5 years, and in June 2025 Israel's Accountant General asked the market for shared ride technology for state employees. A government app from 2014 for the same purpose is no longer in use (Calcalist, June 2025). The app is only part of the work: getting members to post rides and helping them when they get stuck is the rest.
Is PairMee a transport service? Who drives?
No. PairMee supplies no vehicles or drivers. Members who are already driving offer their free seats, and members who need a ride ask to join. The driver approves every request.
Who can see our private board?
The board is listed by name only and opens after the code is typed, so it stays out of public view. Without the code, the rides and the people on it stay hidden. On the board, members see first names and the area a ride leaves from, never phone numbers or exact addresses.
How do members without a car, or new to the community, get started?
They open the link in the browser, sign in with Google or a code sent to their email, and list where they leave from. Drivers from their area see them, and they can ask to be told when a new ride is posted to the board. No download is needed.
Can women ride with women only?
Yes. Women can choose women-only rides. Drivers approve every request, people rate each other after a ride, and anyone can block another user or report a problem.
Who is responsible for the rides?
The people in the car. PairMee connects people and does not operate rides. We do not check ID, driving licences or insurance; users declare they are 18 or older, the driver approves every request, and anyone can report a problem or block a user. The organizer shares a link and does not run the rides. Terms of use
Is there insurance?
PairMee does not insure rides. Drivers travel under their own car insurance, and anyone sharing costs should check with their insurer what their policy covers. Our guide to carpooling in Israel explains the rules.
Is it accessible?
We publish an accessibility statement, and it says plainly that some screens in the app are still hard to use with a screen reader. Tell us your requirements and we will go through them with your accessibility officer.
Where does PairMee work?
We run boards in Israel and take organizers in other countries too, in English and Hebrew. Outside Israel we quote in US dollars.
